I don't see the "Appearance" tab in my WordPress dashboard. Where do I upload the theme?
If you do not see the Appearance tab on the left side of your WordPress dashboard after logging in, it is likely you have not installed the WordPress platform on your server.
Typically when customers contact us and don't see the Appearance tab, it's because they're at the website wordpress.org, or something similar which relates to WordPress as a platform. If you didn't navigate to a custom URL related to your domain name (example: yourblogname.com/wp-admin), and login with a username and password, you are likely not in the right place to upload your theme.
Luckily, installing the WordPress platform is easy once you have secured hosting. Most hosts offer 1-click install of the WordPress platform, and from there, you'll see the Appearance tab and can upload your theme .zip file easily.
