How to import demo content

If you are a new blogger, you will need to upload the demo content for the theme.

1. Delete any content that is already there by default from the installation

For instance, you can trash this "Hello world!" post. 

After trashing it, click into the trash and click Delete Permanently

2. Navigate to Pages from the left-hand navigation bar and delete the two pages that are inside of there

3. Navigate to the Trash to view the deleted pages and click Empty Trash

4. Click Tools > Import

5. Find the WordPress importer and click Install Now

6. Click Run Importer

7. Click Choose File

8. Select the demo content .xml file

You will receive this file as a .zip file, so you will need to double click it in order to open the file before you upload it to WordPress.

9. Click Upload file and import

10. Assign the posts to the existing user, which is going to be your username

11. Check the option to "Download and import file attachments"

12. Click Submit
