Pearl Demo 3
Use the guide below to mirror Pearl Demo 3. Remember, your theme may look a little different, depending on the colors and fonts you select, how many posts you've published, and the images you've uploaded to your media library, posts, and pages.
Each large heading section below corresponds to one of the main tabs in the Customizer. To access the Customizer, from your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Customize. Look for the Header Options tab, which is the first section in our guide below. Continue on to note the sub-tabs and various sections within each parent tab. If you work your way down the Customizer tabs and follow the guide below, you should cover the bases!

MENUS
Menus may be highly variable based on your specific website and content needs. We've outlined how we structured our menus in this demo below, to give you an idea of how you could set yours up similarly. Keep in mind that while you can name a menu anything you wish, you must also assign menus to a menu location. The table below shows you what menus we assigned to which location. The link list in the second column will help guide you in terms of which menu in the demo corresponds to which location.

WIDGETS
The Widget tabs below should appear if you have set your theme up exactly as outlined in the Blog Feed Options tab described above. Below each tab title, we've described the widgets we added in the exact order, and where relevant, any features we turned on within each widget.
HOME FEATURED INTERSTITIAL
This section appears above your first blog feed, beneath the slider (if enabled). In Demo 3, because there is no slider, it appears directly under the Header (in this case, the Instagram feed!)

SETTINGS: You can customize the Pearl: About widget to look like a thumbnail image button with text beneath, set on a background. For the two Pearl: About widgets above, use these settings: Title: [leave blank]; Image Link URL: paste in the URL of your choice; About Text: [leave blank]; Link 1 Link Text: add a button title (e.g. "Advice on blogging"); Link 1 Link URL: add the URL of your choice. Repeat these settings with the second Pearl: About widget for this section!
FOOTER RIGHT
Use the same settings instructions in Footer Left, above, to format the final two buttons on the right side of the footer.
