How do I export my Media Kit from Photoshop to a PDF?

Our Media Kit templates are built in artboards in Photoshop. The instructions below will work for any artboard you are trying to convert to PDF from a Photoshop file. Note that if you’ve found this article and your Photoshop file is an individual document with no artboard, these instructions are not fully applicable. Instead, save your document as a JPG, then create your PDF using Step 5 and beyond with the instructions below.

1. First, go to File > Save As and save the file as a Photoshop file format with a new name. This will allow you to edit your changes again later, and preserve the original template in case you make a mistake with your current edits.

2. Right click on an Artboard in the Layers window — they’re usually named things like “Page 1” or “Page 2.”

3. Select “Quick Export as JPG,” select where you’d like to save the file, and name it appropriately. If you only see “Quick Export as PNG,” instead go to Photoshop > Preferences > Export and change the Quick Export setting to JPG with a minimum quality of 10. Then, follow the instructions in Step 3.

4. Repeat with all the artboards/pages in the document.

5. Open Adobe Acrobat. Go to File > Create > Combine Files into a Single PDF.Locate your newly saved JPGs, add them in, be sure they are in the page correct order, then hit ‘Combine Files.’

6. Presto! Your PDF is created. You can use document settings to change the zoom or page display features as you wish.
