Removing the EmPress theme credits from my theme footer or plugin

As part of our Terms of Use, we ask that you not remove the EmPress credit, which may appear at the bottom of your theme or plugin footer. The EmPress credit appears either as a small <em> icon, or with the text "Theme by EmPress." Per these terms of use and our use policy, we reserve the right to refuse support to customers who have removed the company logo/credit from the bottom of our products featuring it.

If you are a designer using one of our themes on behalf of a client, you are welcome to add your own credit alongside ours, but may not remove the EmPress credit and present the theme or plugin as your own.
